USDA: Butter/Butteroil – Oceania at the End of October 2021

Prices for Oceania butter moved higher at both ends of the price range. A strong showing atthe latest GDT event and higher prices reported by manufacturers are giving a lift to marketprices. Oceania butter futures show prices may stay supported for the near term and may notease until May 2022. Industry sources suggest butter demand is solid. Supplies are tight, asmanufacturers direct more of the available milk to cheese and casein production instead ofto butter churns.
