Butter/Butteroil – Oceania at the End of October 2019

Butter prices in Oceania are steady to higher. Demand within Australia is very good. Manufacturers there are striving to keep domestic customers stocked. New Zealand production is believed to be increasing, benefitting from milk availability. However, the balancing between keeping churns busy and meeting strong WMP demand continues.

At GDT event 246 on October 15, the butter all contracts price, $4,105, decreased 0.4 percent. The November contract, $4,205, increased 1.2 percent.
